Aerial cableway Stechelberg – Gimmelwald – Mürren
SCHILTHORN CABLEWAY 20XX: The direct connection between Stechelberg and Mürren (Section 1) starts operating on 13.12.2024. The connection via Gimmelwald with the existing cableway remains in operation.
Aerial cableway Mürren – Birg
SCHILTHORN CABLEWAY 20XX: The new Funifor cableway between Mürren and Birg (Section 2) starts operating on 13.12.2024.
Aerial cableway Birg – Schilthorn
SCHILTHORN CABLEWAY 20XX: From Monday, 14.10.2024, the aerial cableway between Birg and the Schilthorn will cease operating and be replaced by the new Funifor cableway (Section 3). Opening date: 15.03.2025.
There is no access to the Schilthorn summit via Birg between 14.10.2024 and 15.03.2025.
The Piz Gloria 360°-Restaurant is closed from 7.10.2024 until 15.03.2025.
From 15.03.2025, the Stechelberg - Mürren - Schilthorn connection will operate 365 days a year.
