On the wide and sunny sledge runs around Mürren you can enjoy the unique view of the Swiss Alps.
Whether following in the footsteps of James Bond or taking the Apollo, both routes are easily accessed by our lift system and offer lots of fun for the whole family.
Bob Run
The starting point is the valley station of the Allmendhubel funicular train, right in the middle of Mürren. The funicular takes you up to 1907 metres in just four minutes where this leisurely route is accessed. The Bob Run course leads through the forest, past wonderful chalets and always offers a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. In 1969, all the bobsleigh scenes of the James Bond film "In Her Majesty's Secret Service" were shot on this exact same track.
Apollo Run
The 4-seater chairlift (behind the Schilthorn cable car station in Mürren) takes you up to Schiltgrat, the starting point, in just a short time. The toboggan run begins at a fast pace and takes you past the sunburned huts of Schiltalp. At the "Gimmela" the ride becomes more leisurely and rustic Mürren reappears in the view. The last part leads you through the snowy forest before finally arriving back in the car-free mountain village.
